Vision Document
Home from Home’s vision is that nothing goes to waste.
Our mission is to divert unwanted items from landfill to help the environment; and in doing so support local people by creating jobs, volunteer opportunities and access to affordable goods.
All proceeds go towards collection unwanted goods and helping those in need in the community.
In 2024 Home from Home diverted over 40 tonnes of unwanted goods from the waste stream which:
- Provided 500 households with reuse collection service
- Provided over 600 households with low cost, quality furniture and other goods.
- By reusing these unwanted items over 138 tonnes C02 was saved from entering the environment
- 10 volunteer opportunities
Home from Home is a registered charity (Charity No. 1179824) which aims to reduce waste by reusing unwanted goods.
